La Comissió Europea ha publicat el nou programa de treball de l’H2020 del Repte Social 5 Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials, per a l’any 2020, del període 2018-2020.
Aquest repte social se centra a avançar cap a una economia més ecològica, eficient en els recursos i resistent al clima en sincronització amb el medi natural, demostrant un fort compromís amb el suport als UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) i els objectius del COP21 Paris Agreement.
El Programa de Treball 2020 té 6 prioritats:
- Acció climàtica en suport al Paris Agreement
- Economia circular
- Matèries primeres
- Aigua pel nostre medi ambient, economia i societat
- Innovant ciutats per sostenibilitat i resiliència
- Protegir i aprofitar el valor dels nostres béns culturals i naturals (que inclou l'observació de la Terra, solucions basades en la naturalesa, reducció de riscos de desastres i comptabilitat de capital natural i patrimoni viu).
