La Comissió Europea ha publicat el programa de treball del New European Bauhaus Facility pels anys 2026 i 2027. El Fons New European Bauhaus (NEB) és una eina plurianual (2025-2027) i transversal per revitalitzar els barris europeus. Cobreix tot el cicle d'implementació, des de la recerca i la innovació fins al desplegament.
El Fons NEB donarà suport a projectes per a la transformació atractiva, sostenible i inclusiva de l'entorn construït dels barris, amb l'objectiu de fer que els seus habitants siguin socis del canvi cap a la consecució del Pacte Industrial Net i el Pacte Verd Europeu.
El Fons NEB donarà suport a innovacions (per exemple, governança, socials i de sistemes) que puguin contribuir a una acceptació social més àmplia de les solucions desenvolupades, accelerant el Pacte Verd Europeu i el Pacte Industrial Net (tenint en compte també la seva dimensió digital) i enfortint i restaurant la confiança dels habitants en la democràcia. Les activitats que reben suport a través del Fons NEB també busquen explorar la contribució de l'entorn construït a la conservació i restauració dels ecosistemes naturals (inclosa la via de l'economia verda i blava), la seva relació amb les zones històriques i culturals urbanes, periurbanes o rurals, la millora de la cohesió social i la pertinença, així com la salut i el benestar dels individus i les comunitats. El Fons NEB també s'alinea amb les convencions pertinents de la UNESCO i del Consell d'Europa per protegir i salvaguardar el patrimoni cultural i natural.
La NEB té com a objectiu contribuir als següents objectius específics (destinations):

- Innovative funding and new business models for the transformation of neighbourhoods

Circular and regenerative approaches for the built environment
- HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-REGEN-01: Sustainable, inclusive, affordable and beautiful solutions for thermal comfort in buildings
- HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-REGEN-02: Advancing sustainable maintenance and repair measures for existing buildings
- HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-REGEN-03: Innovative solutions for the sustainable and beautiful use of vertical space
Innovative funding and new business models for the transformation of neighbourhoods
- HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-BUSINESS-01: Structurally addressing homelessness through coordinated social infrastructure and services in neighbourhoods
- HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-BUSINESS-02: Understanding capital market dynamics for increased investment in New European Bauhaus projects in neighbourhoods
- HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-BUSINESS-03: Approaches to reuse vacant, obsolete or underutilised spaces
