La Comissió Europea ha publicat el programa de treball del New European Bauhaus Facility per l’any 2025, iniciativa que té per objectiu traduir el Pacte Verd Europeu en un canvi tangible sobre el terreny.
Aquesta iniciativa política i de finançament es va reforçar encara més en les directrius polítiques per a la Comissió Europea 2024-2029 en el marc de l'objectiu Supporting people, strengthening our societies and our social model.
El compromís i el suport a solucions innovadores es basen en els tres valors entrellaçats de la NEB: sostenibilitat, inclusió i bellesa. La sostenibilitat consisteix a prioritzar les necessitats de totes les formes de vida i del planeta garantint que l'activitat humana no superi els límits planetaris que defineixen un espai operatiu segur per a la humanitat basat en els processos biofísics intrínsecs que regulen l'estabilitat del sistema Terra. La inclusió significa atorgar i garantir la igualtat d'accés a les oportunitats i els recursos per a tothom i fomentar els intercanvis entre cultures, gèneres, edats i grups socioeconòmics. Bellesa es refereix a projectes que són realment atents al seu context, que inclou les arts i la cultura, la qualitat, la diversitat i el patrimoni.

- HORIZON-NEB-2025-01-BUSINESS-02: Bottom-up social entrepreneurship for the co-creation of neighbourhoods in line with the New European Bauhaus
- HORIZON-NEB-2025-01-BUSINESS-03: Reverse local construction supply chains for the beautiful re-assembly of reclaimed construction products
