Ajuts de la Innovative Training Network PARACAT per a formar joves investigadors i investigadores en els àmbits de la química, la física i la biologia

El projecte Paramagnetic Species in Catalysis Research. A Unified Approach towards heterogeneous, Homogeneous and Enzyme Catalysis (PARACAT), finançat amb la convocatòria ITN del programa Marie Sklowdowska Curie, ofereix 10 ajuts predoctorals.

Resum de les places disponibles:

• ESR 1: Applications of Earth Abundant Metals (EAMs) for small molecule activation and C-C cross coupling (Cardiff University i University of Antwerp);
• ESR 2: Activation of small molecules by cupric ions in MOFs and zeolites (University of Leipzig i University of Turin);
• ESR 3: Mechanistic insight in peroxidase activity towards industrial applications. (University of Antwerp i University of Zaragoza);
• ESR 4: Paramagnetic active sites in Ziegler Natta Catalysts. (University of Turin i University of Antwerp);
• ESR 5: The role of Cr paramagnetic states in olefin polymerization over Phillips catalysts. (University of Turin i University of Leipzig);
• ESR 6: Elucidation of the role of paramagnetic valence states of chromium, vanadium, and iron in bimetallic MIL-100 and MIL-101 MOF catalysts (University of Leipzig i Cardiff University);
• ESR 7: Towards tuning P450 reactivity: Study of the oxidation cycle of CYP116B5 using H2O2 (University of Zaragoza i University of Turin);
• ESR 8: Studying the role of proximal heme ligation in the reactivity of compound I by hyperfine spectroscopy. (University of Antwerp i University of Zaragoza);
• ESR 9: An EPR investigation of cobalt & manganese catalysts for oxidative transformations. (Cardiff University i University of Turin);
• ESR 10: Combined EPR - DFT methodology to gain mechanistic insights in transition-metal catalysed oxidation reactions of organic molecules. (University of Antwerp i Cardiff University).

Els requisits per sol·licitar aquests ajuts són:

• Tenir un màster en química, biologia o física.
• Ser un investigador/a early stage amb menys de 4 anys de carrera.
• No haver obtingut el títol de doctor/a.
• No haver residit ni treballat en el país de destinació més de 12 mesos en els últims 3 anys.

Les persones sol·licitants hauran de presentar:

• El formulari de sol·licitud degudament omplert, tot incloent-hi els noms i els contactes de com a mínim 2 persones de referència.
• Còpia del passaport o d’un altre document identificatiu.
• Un CV complet.
• Una carta d’introducció indicant perquè volen formar part del programa.
• Un document oficial indicant la classificació del màster i les notes obtingudes a l’últim any del màster.

El termini per la presentació de la sol·licitud és el 30 de gener del 2019 a les 18.00.
